A lightweight collapsible bicycle trailer built around a carbon fibre frame. The trailer was designed to fold flat into a compact package so it can be stored in a small space and, just as importantly, lifted on and off a boat by a single person.

Every component was selected or made with weight in mind. The frame uses carbon fibre tubing with custom folding corner fittings, the side panels are a lightweight mesh laced to the frame with shock cord through stainless steel eyelets, and the wheels run on quick release hubs with a sprung suspension link. The draw bar uses a clamp style bike hitch with a captive safety lanyard.

The end result is a strong, weather tolerant trailer that packs down small for a boat locker or garage, and goes back together in seconds when it is needed on the dock or on the road.
